I was at a Bowls England meeting in November where John McGuinness the Director of Coaching suggested that all players irrespective of their standard benefit from coaching - he gave examples of top sportsman all of whom had coaches. It is with this in mind that there is an emphasis for all clubs to have a coach, they should also have a 'Safeguarding Officer' who is familiar with current legislation on the subject and how it affects their club.

The Bowls Development Alliance in Association with Bowls England are holding courses in our area (see attached), Bowls England offer bursaries to clubs sending members to the courses - you may even be able to get other funding from local sporting bodies.
